| my father is having surgery 4-11-11 Submitted by: Frank Nichols | I would like to ask the members to pray for my father, over 60% of his heart is basically not functioning so he has a defibrillator which sents electric pulse to keep his heart pumping and the battery is used up so the Dr. is going to change it next Monday 4-11. unfortunately last time this was done he flat lined 3 times and the last time was around 2 minutes before they revived him, the Dr. told my sister they expect similar results this time and he has 50/50 chance of coming through it. I have personaly witnessed to him about his salvation and he says he has earnestly prayed to receive Christ but is not interested in regularly attending church and with the loss of my mother 1-8-10 his spirits are very down and I think he is scared of death. please pray for him and even myself that Gods spirit will give me wisdom if he has any spiritual needs that need to be met! and the peace that surpasses all understanding will be the final result. They tried doing a biopsy but didn't get enough fluid I guess. She is having surgery to have it removed. They will find out if it is cancerous during surgery. Her surgery is sceduled April 14th.
